A CLOSER LOOK AT THE BRAND NEW KÄHRS HARMONY COLLECTION
26 September 2013
Kährs has recently announced that it has a brand new collection of natural hardwood floors, called the Harmony Collection.
Harmony floors from Kährs are all made in Sweden, like many other of the manufacturer’s ranges, and they are made from European oak and ash from sustainable sources.
There are a range of colour tones available to choose from, from the Oak Dew and Oak Frost floors with their cool, pale tones to dark, rich, earthy coloured floors such as Oak Smoke. One floor in the range that followers of design trends may be interested in is the grey-toned Oak Limestone, as well as the white Ash Alabaster, as both of these colour neutral tones are right on-trend at the moment.
Finishes in the Harmony range include smoking and bevelling, to add further distinction to the stunning natural character of the wood, as well as hand-brushing. This technique, which exposes natural graining and character as well as giving a very fashionable aged look to the floor, is very popular right now.
As for the construction of the floors in this new collection, anyone who knows anything about Kährs wood floors will be happy to hear that each features the manufacturer’s trademark high performance construction.
