The world-renowned hardwood flooring manufacturer Junckers has announced that it has expanded its reach to a brand new international market by launching a flooring range in the south Asian country of Sri Lanka.

The Danish floor specialists have teamed up with the Sri Lankan interiors and building products provider Delmege Forsyth and Co. Ltd to launch a range of products in the island nation’s home interiors market. The move into this new market also coincides with a new project Junckers is embarking on, in which Junckers Industries A/S Denmark will provide flooring for the prestigious ‘Movenpick’ hotel in Sri Lanka.

To launch the company’s products in Sri Lanka, a special presentation for Delmege representatives, eminent Sri Lankan architects and members of the Junckers team was held in Colombo, the largest city in Sri Lanka. At the presentation, the Country Manager for the Indian Subcontinent, Mr Suresh Kumar Mansukhani, spoke on behalf of Junckers:
