It has been revealed that a Junckers wood floor has been selected as the flooring of choice for a brand new and innovative working space in the U.S. capital of Washington D.C.

The space is to be used by the KAUST Investment Management Company, which was looking for top-quality furnishing and innovative design. The company employed design agency Studios Architecture, which decided that a Junckers Oak Golden Pearl floor was the perfect choice for the project.

The finished space is highly inviting, the warm, lustrous tones of the Junckers hardwood floor complementing the light and exquisite decoration and sculptural furniture. The crowning jewel of the company’s workspace is a golden conference room, which is made of glass and has a backdrop consisting of a laser-cut, decorative metal lattice illuminated by glowing light.

The Junckers floor was ideal for the project as it has a specially developed golden glaze, offering a lustrous pearlescent finish. An ultra matt finish was also applied on top of the glaze of each solid oak plank.

The Golden Pearl floor isn’t the only variation offered by Junckers, which has also made Silver Pearl and Natural Pearl versions of its exclusive wood flooring available.
