KAHRS SUPPLIES WOOD FLOORING FOR BBC DIY SHOW

It has recently been reported that Europe’s leading hardwood flooring producers has featured on one of the BBC’s renovation programmes called ‘DIY SOS: The Big Build’.

Kahrs wooden flooring was used to help transform a property on the popular BBC One show.

A family in Chesterfield got to benefit from having oak wood flooring fitted in their home, with the application being shown as part of the current series.

Award-winning applications from the manufacturer were chosen for the project including multi-layered products from the Kahrs Original and Linnea collections.

The brand is widely known for not using adhesive in the installation of their wooden floors and this allows for individual boards to be moved from their place or even relocated should the need ever arise.

Instead, the Kahrs wood boards can be automatically aligned and locked together, meaning that the risk of gaps forming is almost eliminated entirely.

There are many environmental benefits to using this stable wood flooring too as the company is conscious of its impact.

In terms of maintenance, you can rest easy that the Original floor (not the Linnea option) can be sanded down to the joint just like you would with a solid floor. The hardwearing surface is suitable for cleaning with a slightly damp mop or by vacuuming as well.

Justwood hardwood flooring specialists are main dealers for the complete Kahrs range and are able to supply nationwide or supply and fit within Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire.
