At Surfaces 2013, the leading floor covering industry event held in the U.S, the easy-install flooring manufacturer Quick-Step offered one of the first glimpses of its brand new collection.
A key part of the Quick-Step exhibition at Surfaces, which this year was held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Centre in Las Vegas at the end of January 2013, was the extension of the brand’s hugely popular Reclaimé Collection. This collection aims to add charm and character to any space using reclaimed, vintage wood, cut into long, thick planks to create a substantial presence in a room. Overall, the collection offers classic natural beauty and rustic appeal, in line with the demand for organic looks in home furnishings and decor expected in 2013.
Also showcased at Surface were new products in the Quick-Step Veresque Collection. Featuring the brand’s innovative GenuEdge Technology to deliver realistic hardwood edge visuals, the new products arrived in characterful Hickory and rustic, rich Oak designs.
Saving the best for last, Quick-Step also unveiled a brand new line, the Dominion Collection, which previewed at Surfaces 2013 ahead of its summer launch. Featuring beautiful reclaimed Chestnut woods, hand-scraped finishes and a number of exotic, adventurous designs, the new collection looks set to be hugely popular when it is officially launched.
