Provided you take care of your hardwood flooring correctly following the care instructions from the manufacturer or flooring company you purchase it from you can expect it to last a long time, much longer than the cheaper alternatives. You could in fact end up spending more in the long run if you opt for the cheaper alternative and end up needing to replace it at regular intervals.

WARMTH
Contrary to popular belief, hardwood flooring is in fact not cold underfoot at all. Because wood is an excellent source of insulation, hardwood flooring is not only very nice to walk on, but it is also pleasantly warm underfoot.
