Kährs has proudly announced that two of its popular collections have been awarded prizes in the Tomorrow’s Flooring Products Awards 2013.

Hundreds of entries were put forward for the awards, which are run by Tomorrow’s Flooring, the online flooring magazine for the flooring industry. Two collections from Kährs – the new Da Capo Collection and Shine Collection, both from the Kährs Supreme Range – came out on top, joining the magazine’s top 50 products to watch out for in the coming year.

The Kährs Supreme Range consists of four wood floor collections. Along with Da Capo and Shine, there are the Grande and Elegance collections. The first prize winner, Da Capo, is a set of six distinctive one-strip rustic oak floors, all made from sustainable sources. Each floor has its own vintage look, achieved via techniques such as hand-scraping, smoking, bevelling and brushing.

The second recipient of a Tomorrow’s Flooring Product Award, the Shine Collection, is also a brand new product for Kährs. The glamorous collection consists of eight one-strip wood floors in a range of beautiful colours from copper-toned black to gleaming pearly white. In addition, each floor is lacquered with a reflective sheen for a high-gloss finish.
