Kährs, one of the leading wood flooring manufacturers in the UK and internationally, has managed to win the Hardwood Flooring Product of the Year prize at the CFJ/CFA Flooring Industry Awards.

Whilst its entire range of multi-layered, environmentally friendly wooden flooring scooped Kährs the award for 2013, this isn’t the first time the company has been named Hardwood Flooring Product of the Year. To date, Kährs has a trophy cabinet packed full of no less than twelve of these very same prestigious prizes.

At the 2013 CFJ/CFA Flooring Industry Awards, the awards were voted for by the readers of Contract Flooring Journal, which sponsored the event alongside the Contract Flooring Association. Kährs was a clear winner amongst consumers and industry experts, thanks to the easy installation, stunning design, impressive durability and eco-friendly, sustainable nature of its floors.

The floors which keep winning Kährs these coveted prizes are all based on the original Kährs design, which was patented in Sweden all the way back in 1941. The design uses sustainably sourced hardwood down to the joint, and then fast-growing timber underneath, creating a versatile and strong multi-layered flooring solution suitable for a range of different environments.
