Beech flooring brightens up any size of room due to it's light natural colouring which can really open up any given space.

Beech flooring is largley considered an attractive hardwood flooring option, with colours ranging from a light cream to a medium tan or brown.

It is not uncommon to also see pink-orange overtones begin to develop over time as the wood begins to mature, adding further character to whatever room it is placed in.

Beech is a strong and durable variety of hardwood, with the same level of hardness as oak. This makes it a suitable option for any high traffic areas of your home, as it does not scratch or dent easily. It also has a straight grain and even texture throughout, giving it a uniform appearance – although it is not uncommon to see beech wood flooring with very light markings on the surface.

Beech flooring can also be stained, meaning you can achieve a wide range of different tones and shades.

Because of its light natural colour, beech wood flooring is perfect for any slightly smaller rooms, as lighter colours create the illusion of space. If you are having beech flooring fitted in a smaller room, try to pair it with furniture and decorations in lighter shades, while also making sure there is access to natural light – all of this will help make your room feel larger.

At Just Wood, we can help you every step of the way, with a professional installation service available to all our customers.
